Collection: Lotus Blossom Stupa

The Lotus Blossom Stupa, also known as the Stupa of Heaped Lotuses or Birth of the Sugata Stupa, is a sacred monument rich in symbolism, capturing the momentous occasion of the Buddha's birth.

This stupa is a homage to the birth of the Buddha, a profound event marked by the Sugata taking seven steps in each of the four directions (East, South, West, and North). With each step, lotuses miraculously sprung forth, symbolizing the Four Immeasurables: love, compassion, joy, and equanimity.
